Cardinal Systems Purchases Modern Pool Systems
Cardinal Systems, Schuylkill Haven, Pa., recently acquired Modern Pool Systems, Columbus, Miss. "With our acquisition of Modern Pool Systems, we are continuing to expand our offerings to the in-ground vinyl market," says Skip Bradley, Cardinal CEO. "We see this purchase as the next logical step in our efforts to bring the highest quality products to our customers."
According to Cardinal Systems, a few operational changes will occur. Manufacturing operations will now take place in Pennsylvania; however, Modern Pool Systems products will continue to be branded under that name. Also, all products will be sold through the wholesale and distribution markets.
Frank Wall, the founder and president of Modern Pool Systems, has been appointed director of sales for the company. He will continue to develop new products, as well as work with wholesale distribution personnel and pool builders throughout the country. "You know, when you start a small company, you want to make a great product and do a good job for your customer," says Wall. "Now to have a chance to leverage the scale and relationships of such a great company like Cardinal, I am really looking forward to the job we will be able to do together for all of our customers."
