The ninth annual World Aquatic Health Conference will be held in Norfolk, Va., October 10–12 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel. Leaders in the global recreational water industry will come together to learn and discuss the latest aquatic health and safety as well as create a future path for the industry.

Leaders from academia, associations, building, consulting, retail, aquatic facilities, service, public health/government, health and medical, and manufacturers will be in attendance for this year’s conference, according to show organizers.

“We want attendees to take every drop of WaterWisdom and help our world grow a whole lot,” Thomas M. Lachocki, Ph.D, CEO of conference host National Swimming Pool Foundation, stated for the press. “A wealth of information points to a recovering economy; that coupled with the warmer weather suggests a promising year for an industry positioned to deliver solutions for a healthier world.”

This year’s conference will host 27 new speakers, along with its two keynote speakers, Bryon T. Embry, CEO and Founder of Closing Remarks, LLC and Lachocki. In addition to the speakers there will be 45 seminars, 6 symposia, a scientific poster session and lunch roundtables.

Early bird registration fee deadline is June 1. Student pricing is offered with proof of enrollment. A discounted room rate is offered for conference attendees.
