• SeaKlear has hired Martin Coles as the company’s new CEO. Coles has worked in many Fortune 500 corporations, most recently at Starbucks, where he served as president of Starbucks Coffee International and COO of Starbucks Coffee Company. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of the company's global operations across 51 countries. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of the Reebok brand and has held senior executive positions at Nike and Pepsi Cola Bottling US.

• Scott Lenney, founder of Acu-Trol, is back in the swimming pool industry as the CEO and founder of ControlOMatic. The new company will offer plug-and-play salt chlorine generators, as well as a chemical controller known as the PoolWarden.
• Pen Fabricators, manufacturer of inground and aboveground vinyl swimming pool liners and winter covers, has launched a new website at www.penfab.com. The new site offers downloadable ordering forms as well as a “tips and tricks” section to help pool professionals with ordering and installing Pen Fab products.
• Plastimayd LLC, manufacturer of vinyl liners for inground and aboveground swimming pools, safety covers,and inflatable structures for the swimming pool market is celebrating its 60th year in business. Plastimayd was founded in 1952 in Portland, Ore. The company originally manufactured a diverse offering of vinyl products including rain jackets and golf bag covers. In 1960 Plastimayd started making swimming pool liners.

• DeltaUV, manufacturers of a complete line of residential and commercial ultraviolet water treatment products, has reached an agreement with SEMCO Sales of New Jersey to sell and market its line of products in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
• Evosus, maker of software program designed specifically for the pool and spa industry, has added two new employees to assist customers with the implementation of Evosus software. Dana Johnson has joined the company as a support specialist. She brings an impressive skill-set in business consulting including experience assisting clients with inventory management, accounting, payroll, service scheduling, sales and more. Emily Wiesinger has joined the company as a quality assurance specialist. Wiesinger will work closely with the development team to provide outstanding quality assurance and testing for Evosus software products.
