“We are very proud to be India’s official and only meeting point for the pool, [spa] and luxury bathroom industry,” says Sonny Sharma, CEO and editor of WAVES Magazine. “Based off of the feedback from exhibitors and visitors from our inaugural show, we are projecting growth of 300 percent for 2012’s event.”
According to Sharma, the water leisure industry is among the fastest growing in India, with growth estimated at 50 percent annually and gross revenues estimated at $700 million.
The 2012 show will also feature exhibitors in the spa, beauty and fitness industry, which Deepak Yada, managing director of an Indian trade publication dedicated to the sector, says is a natural fit for the hot tub and pool industry.
