Hard Rock Hotels have always amazed guests with unforgettable entertainment and rock n’ roll decor, but the chain’s most recent expansion in Hollywood, Fla., has taken this iconic style to the ultimate pool lover’s level.
At first glance this impressive structure stands out through its unique design, but inside the Seminole Hard Rock’s new Guitar Hotel is a collection of pools, jacuzzis, spas and other aquatic venues that is sure to amaze pool and music fans alike. Visitors of the first guitar-shaped hotel in the world will have access to over 13 acres of swimming area ranging from their River Pools, the Guitar Pool, a 42,000-sq. ft. spa and a selection of VIP pools like the Bora Bora Cabana — a private villa complete with a butler.
If this still doesn’t satisfy your aquatic desires, the hotel also has swim-up suites available on the first floor of their Oasis Tower. Guests can go directly from their suite to the private pool outside their balcony allowing them to rise, shine and dive, straight out of bed.
“Whether lounging at a private chickee cabana, taking a dip in the pool or sipping on signature cocktails at the Pool Bar & Grill, sun-glistened amenities are simply the rockstar way,” the company states on its website.
Many of the Guitar Hotel’s water features, including a lake with over 2 acres of recreational space, were designed by Cloward H20, an aquatic engineering team based out of Provo, Utah. From hydraulic analysis and modeling to water circulation and treatment engineering, Cloward is used to mastering their way through large and complex projects such as the Beijing Aquarium and Keylime Cove Waterpark. Good thing, too, because working on the Guitar Tower required a total of 5.2 million gallons of water.
So whether you’re looking for a pampered evening by the pool or an adventurous outing on the lake, the Guitar Hotel assures an unforgettable underwater experience. You might even stick around long enough to remember you’re swimming in a giant guitar!
