D1 Plans for Growth with New Initiatives, Staff Members

D1 Spas is excited to announce a slew of changes to the company. First, D1 recently welcomed a new product manager, Skye Svenningsen, to the team.

In addition, D1 has implemented new and improved marketing and sales programs that have already led to company growth. Next year, D1 plans to add onto these programs as well as make a significant investment in new product enhancements, carrying on the D1 legacy of innovation.

“In addition to building the Dimension One team, we have been steadily increasing our investments in web development, lead generation, merchandising, and consumer promotions. These investments in turn are driving significant growth for our existing dealers as well as bringing in new dealers,” says Greg Meisenzahl, D1’s general manager.

Engineered Treatment Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Neptune-Benson, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Low to Aquatic Regional Manager for the Western region of North America.  

Mike joins ETS with more than 24 years of experience in the swimming pool and spa industry. He will be responsible for all sales and market development in conjunction with our established distribution network in his territory. Mike has been highly involved in the promotion of our industry having served as past board member on the National Drowning Prevention Alliance in addition to having worked with the Consumer Product Safety Council, American National Standards Institute and the American Standard for Testing and Materials to improve the overall health and safety of the patrons in the industry.

Major Changes at Clearwater Spas 

Ron Clearwater, owner of Hydra Plastics, Inc. and its flagship brand, Clearwater Spas, is pleased to announce his retirement and the formation of the company’s new parent company, Thermal Hydra Plastics. 

Thermal Hydra Plastics will continue to grow and build the Clearwater Spas and Birch Bay Hot Tubs brands for their dealers throughout the world. Larry Richards, Vice President of Hydra Plastics, Inc. who has also been a driving force in the growth of the company for more than 25 years, will continue to lead all operations and sales of the newly formed company as CEO. All existing management will also remain and continue to grow its hot tub brands and provide dealer support.

Ron Clearwater has been a leading innovator in the spa industry for 37 years. Hydra Plastics, Inc. was established in 1976 and has grown its successful hot tub dealer brands into 15 countries.

DeltaUV has combined forces with RWB Sales rep group to sell and market its products in the Southeastern region of the US. RWB is an independent group of representatives that will be promoting Delta UV and its products in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.  Jeff Boynton of Delta UV states: “After enjoying some ‘sweet tea’ and southern hospitality Delta UV was pleased to agree to have RWB represent the Delta UV Clean Light UV technology to pool professionals in the southeastern region of the US”. SeaKlear “Steeles” Its Marketing Team

SeaKlear water treatment products is excited to announce the expansion of its marketing group with the addition of Alex Steele as the company’s new marketing director. 

Steele will assume responsibility for developing and executing marketing activation plans for SeaKlear. She brings a wealth of experience from her years developing and marketing consumer packaged goods and, most recently, running her own marketing consulting business focused on environmentally friendly companies.  

A native of Argentina and Spanish speaker, Steele is excited to interact with the diverse base of dealers in the pool and spa industry.

Pen Fabricators Receives Patent For CleanLine Solid Safety CoverScreen Shot 2013 09 23 At 11 41 37 Am

Pen Fabricators is pleased to announce that it has received the official patent on its Clean Line safety cover. The Clean Line cover has no stitching anywhere on the cover, doesn’t use straps cross the entire length and width of the cover, and is manufactured with reinforced vinyl material, making it lighter than traditional safety covers.
