Point of View
The Mena House Oberoi hotel in Cairo, Egypt, has a lot to offer: it's set in 40 acres of jasminescented gardens, it's the only hotel in Cairo with its own 18-hole golf course and, oh yeah, it sits in the shadow of the Great Pyramids, so golfers and bathers alike can enjoy spectacular views. The palatial hotel has hosted kings, emperors, heads of state and celebrities, so a swim in this pool would certainly be one for your own personal history book.
Playboy Panorama
Equally as amazing — though just a bit more kitschy — the view of the Las Vegas strip from the gigantic hot tub in the Palm's Hugh Hefner Sky Villa atop its Fantasy Tower might be worth the $40,000 a night it costs to rent the suite (or maybe not), but one thing is for sure: a night spent there would be just as memorable as a tour of the pyramids. The breathtaking view is just the beginning for this 9,000-square-foot palace, which happens to be the most-expensive suite in Sin City (at press time, that is). It's also got a personal gym with sauna, a private glass elevator, a replica of Hef's 8-foot rotating bed, an outdoor sunbathing terrace and a spa treatment room.
