The National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) has announced the appointment of two new members to the board of directors: Franceen Gonzales, corporate director of aquatics for Great Wolf Resorts, Madison, Wis., and Dr. Anita Sayed, (president and CEO of Colorado Time Systems, Loveland, Colo.
“We welcome these two additions, who diversify and complement a formidable group of leaders that makes up the Board,” said John Puetz, president of the board and director of technology at Advantis Technologies, Alpharetta, Ga.
Meet The New Board MembersFranceen Gonzales is a well-regarded strategic executive and advisor, having extensive experience with resorts across the United States in sales and marketing, safety, maintenance, revenue and operations. She has guided the industry in her role as the Chair of World Waterpark Association Board of Directors, as well as in critical safety committee work.
Anita Sayed is an experienced and savvy executive who has started a total of five businesses, the first while still a student. She is recipient of the MIT Entrepreneur award as well as the federal government’s small business award for “Excellence in Export.” She was also a member of the U.S. trade mission to Japan during Reagan and George H.W. Bush presidencies.
