If pool fun had a physical shape it might be this 28-foot long slide with 11-foot climbing wall, launch pad and rope swing waterfall. There's a button at the top of the rope swing that allows a kid to actuate a waterfall to swing through.
But according to Ed Maytum, Ultamaytum Pools, Salt Lake City, Utah, "most of the time the kids just keep the water feature on.
"The pool is terrifically fun. The pool, slide, water features and climbing wall are all illuminated with colorful LEDs so it's an amazing sight at night. Great for nighttime swimming. It really seems that the fun pools are what everyone wants these days. They want something different, not the standard old pool anymore." This particular installation is a BYOS (build your own slide) custom system from Inter-Fab with a Pentair Aqualogic controller. "The equipment is all housed within the two-story structure we built as the landing for the top of the slide," Maytum says. "There is one pump for the slide and waterfall, a second pump which is a multi-flow 3 hp Pentair pump with four speeds that can adjust speeds as demands require from vacuuming system to water features plus a third separate pump that works with the second waterfall feature."
