The National Drowning Prevention Alliance has accepted an offer from the International Swimming Hall of Fame to move into space at its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
"Our shared focus on drowning prevention and water safety makes this a great fit for us," said Kim Burgess, interim executive editor for NDPA. "This partnership will help expand our public education and advocacy."
Bruce Wigo, president and CEO of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, also expressed enthusiasm for the new arrangement.
The NDPA will have use of office space and equipment, meeting rooms and conference facilities. The new space will replace the organization's old headquarters in Huntington Beach, Calif., where it's been since the NDPA was formed in 2004.
NDPA's new address is One Hall of Fame Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 33316. Other occupants include USA Diving, USA Water Polo and the American Swim Coaches Association.
