Each year, Florida pool builders flock to the FSPA's annual Design Awards competition, which honors the best pool and spa installations found in the sunshine state. This year's winners once again set the bar high for stunning feats of architecture, design and fun.
Top winners this year include Almar/Jackson Pools, Inc. of Jupiter, which was named Best in Show; the same project also won Gold in the Residential Water Feature category, Gold in the Residential Pool/Spa Combination 701 sq. ft. and over category, and Award of Technical Achievement in the Residential Water Feature category. Almar/Jackson Pools also took home a Silver award in the Residential - Shotcrete, Gunite, Dry-pac, Masonry Vanishing Edge category.
This year, 24 awards ranging from Awards of Merit to the coveted Best in Show were awarded. Projects are judged on workmanship, soundness of design, beauty, practicality and safety. Categories customized for Florida pool construction divide the entries by size, type of construction and features. You can see all of the winners in the slideshow below.
