Last month, we published the majority of the 2023 State of the Industry Retail Report, where it appeared that the unprecedented demand pool and spa retailers have been wrestling with over the past few years is starting to level off. We looked at available inventory, price changes, spa sales and more.
This month, we are taking a look at the digital side of things. We asked survey respondents how much social media plays a role in their company's success — 43% said they spend a great deal of time and effort to ensure their social channels help their business grow. In regards to e-commerce, we found that 61% of retailers have some percentage of sales that derive from online. And as for BOPIS — a buy-online-pickup-in-store strategy that was made more popular over the pandemic period — only 37% of survey takers say they currently offer the service.
