Another change Family has already executed is rearranging its store. "We have a back showroom that people would infrequently go in," says Pheneger. "It's a very nice room, but that's where we had our hot tubs. We entirely flip-flopped our store this spring and nicely displayed our chemicals in the back showroom and moved the hot tubs out front, so when people come in, the first thing they see is the hot tubs. And now they have to go through the spa display to get back to the chemicals we know they need. That's been an improvement."
