Don’t Miss Watershape University’s Final 2025 Summer Series Course

In a series of courses designed to advance careers and raise the standard of excellence in the pool and spa industry, Watershape University’s 2025 Summer Series is drawing nearer to its penultimate event, set for July 25-27, 2025 in San Diego, Calif.

The final event, titled “Design Weekend 2025” will be jam-packed with a combination of design courses 2611 and 2212 to offer an "immersive experience in color theory, materials, textures, and foundational design principles,” according to the WU website. With the opportunity to earn their Certified Watershape Designer (CWD) credential, this three-day course is led by top designers Jason Brownlee, IWI and Lea Frederick, IWI.

Ahead of the Summer Series that began in May, the team at WU was ecstatic for what was sure to be an amazing set of courses: “We believe in empowering professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the aquatic design and construction industry,” they said in a previous statement. “Our 2025 Summer Series offers a diverse range of courses, all aimed at elevating industry standards and fostering innovation.”

Previous courses that have since passed included:

  • CONSTRUCTION 4611: Advanced Hands-On Plaster Workshop
  • DESIGN 1991: Design Foundations Studio
  • ENGINEERING 4311: Essential Advanced Fluid Engineering Workshop
  • ENGINEERING 4411: Essential Electrical Workshop
