International Pool | Spa | Patio ExpoExhibitions: November 1 – 3 Exhibit Hours: |
Less than two months ago, at 9:10 a.m. EDT on September 10, Hurricane Irma made landfall in Florida, bringing widespread destruction to the Sunshine State. It was the most powerful hurricane of 2017 in terms of wind speed, and those winds wreaked havoc all along the peninsula.
But when it was over, the sun came out, the cleanup began and preparations resumed for the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Orlando. Even a hurricane couldn't slow them down.
This year's show promises the same wide-ranging array of products the industry has come to expect of its biggest show, with everything from pool nets to patio furniture on display.
Education opportunities abound as well, with a conference track designed specifically for commercial operators and those looking to expand into the commercial segment (see the conference education schedule on page 76).
As always, outdoor living will be a focus this year with a specialized pavilion on the show floor offering a plethora of products including grills, casual furniture, fire features, lighting, outdoor structures and more.
The traditional special events attendees have loved for years are back, including the Welcome Party on opening night, which will be held at Howl at the Moon (8815 International Drive). Admission is free for conference registrants.
On the second evening of the show, the PSP Block Party (formerly the BBQ Bash) takes place in the parking lot adjacent to North Hall B, featuring complimentary refreshments, including beer and wine.
And finally, after a week of learning and networking, the last hour of the Expo will feature a Pool Prize Party. Each attendee will receive a Pool Prize Party ticket at registration, and can collect more tickets during the show from participating exhibitors, which will pay off at the closing event.
