The National Drowning Prevention Alliance is introducing an all-new membership program for current and new members, designed to “deliver more value, more tools and resources, more benefits and more impact” as they continue their mission to prevent drowning and water-related tragedies, according to the official announcement.
While this means that free memberships will no longer be available, NDPA is proud to share that their goal with the new program is to ensure long-term organizational sustainability and to expand their member benefits.
Please note: All previous free members must sign up again under one of the new membership levels, which can be explored here.

In light of the change to the membership program, NDPA’s mission remains the same, and as strong as ever.
“Thank you for all you have done and are doing each day as water safety professionals and advocates,” says Alissa Magrum, executive director at NDPA. “It is an incredibly busy time of year for all of us, as this work is not only essential but critical to saving lives. We are inspired daily as we see and hear about all of the work being done in the aquatics and water safety field. We are making a difference — so let’s keep it going.”
