Be Well Hot Tubs, a leading North American spa manufacturer, is proud to announce the appointment of Amélie St-Hilaire as U.S. Sales Manager for the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast regions.
With deep roots in the pool and spa industry, Amélie’s passion for business began in 1987 at the age of 11, when she joined her father Normand — owner of Lumi-O, a manufacturer of exclusive above ground pool lighting systems — on a summer sales trip. That early hands-on experience laid the foundation for a lifelong career in customer service, strategic sales and product development.
Over the years with Lumi-O, Amélie played a pivotal role in the development of roto-molded innovations such as The Royal Entrance step for above-ground pools and the Spa-Ô, a roto-molded hot tub. After the family business was sold to Innovaplas in 2009, she shifted her focus to the wellness sector, founding Bagni Spa, a Nordic spa in the Laurentians, which she successfully operated for a decade before selling to Strøm Spa, a recognized leader in the Canadian spa industry.
“It’s a challenge that matches my ambitions,” says St. Hilaire. “It’s a privilege to apply my entrepreneurial experience in manufacturing and my passion for client relationships to such an inspiring company. Be Well represents everything I believe in a robust product line, a visionary team, and a commitment to excellence. I’m thrilled to be part of this journey and to drive growth across the U.S.”
Vicky Brisebois, Sales Manager International of Be Well Hot Tubs, adds:
“With experience gained at a young age in business development through the family business, and a contagious dynamism matched by her dedication, engagement and determination, Amélie is a key asset in driving significant sales growth in the United States. Her arrival strengthens our ability to build on our momentum and continue expanding in the U.S. market.”
Prior to joining Be Well, Amélie served as U.S. Sales Manager at CPI Champlain Plastics, a U.S. manufacturer. Although she managed made-in-USA products, a significant portion of the product catalog consisted of imported goods — a limitation in today’s economic climate. Seeking greater alignment with her strengths, she embraced the opportunity to join Be Well — and play a key role in its expansion within the wellness industry.
