The Global AquaTekture Visionary Awards, hosted by Three V Enterprises (3VE), honored Vance Gillette, vice president of business development for Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc., with the 2012 Inspire Award Thursday at the 4th annual GAVA Awards. The Inspire Award recognizes individuals who inspire greatness in others through their unselfish devotion, creativity and passion in the field of AquaTekture. It was awarded to Gillette, a 45-year industry veteran, for his key role in the promotion of pools and spas around the world.

The GAVA recognize artisans around the world whose visions and creativity exemplify the best in AquaTekture; the discipline of designing, engineering and erecting of water environments and ancillary components, in a harmonious nature with consideration to function, space and aesthetics. The competition is open to all design and construction disciplines. Entries for the 2012 competition are now closed, however more information about the awards is available at on the GAVA site.
