• Cal Spas recently announced the launch of its new Genesis Spa Series, a line of rotomolded hot tubs that will be available to its dealer network beginning in 2013.
“We updated our popular rotomold line by adding new spa models with eye-catching features and impressive jet counts,” said Casey Loyd, president of Cal Spas, based in Pomona, Calif. “This value-conscious spa line is packed with premium features and priced to match any budget. We feel our dealers will be impressed with our new line, which will contribute to a successful selling season.”
PSNTech, a Phoenix-based company specializing in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-efficiency electric motors, is changing the name of its pool motors from Marathon Electric by SNTech to Dyna-Tech motors. In addition, the company’s line of variable-speed pool pump motors will change from imPower by SNTech to Infinity motors.
The name changes will take effect in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of SNTech acquiring the two motor product lines from Regal Beloit Corporation (RBC).
“It’s time to refresh these brands with names that more accurately reflect both our values at SNTech and the dynamic attributes of the products,” said SNTech CEO Shannon Bard. “The name Dyna-Tech ties into our company name and conveys power, innovation and durability. The Infinity motor line will continue to demonstrate progressive technology, set the bar for contemporary design and evolve for many years to come.”
