If you've ever been to a community pool, you're probably familiar with the "shower before you swim" practice. Viteo, an outdoor furniture company founded by Austrian architect Wolfgang Pichler, has created its own version of the outdoor shower that's far more sophisticated — and fun — than its community pool ancestor.
At first glance, the Viteo Shower is rather nondescript — it's a simple circular disc with a stainless steel base that keeps a rather slim profile. But step on it, and the water jets from the base, creating a unique showering experience. Gizmag, a website about new technologies, aptly said the Viteo Shower "turns the shower upside-down."
The Shower was designed by Danny Venlet and awarded with the Red Dot Design Award and the IF Gold Award.
