Canadian General Tower, Cambridge, Ontario, has promoted Rick Chaplin to preside over board meetings, as well as maintain his management responsibilities as part of the executive team. Chaplin will take over the role from his father, Jim Chaplin, who will remain involved in the business.

Hayward, Elizabeth, N.J., has promoted Troy McGinty to product manager for its Commercial Pool Products group. McGinty has been in the industry since 2008, and is active in the APSP, NSPF and the Professional Pool Operators of America.

Cal Spas, Pamona, Calif., has hired Robert Velto and Victor Moss as regional sales managers. Velto will cover the southern zone of the western states while Moss will cover the Midwestern states.

Distributors/Reps

ClearDeck Systems, Windsor, Ontario, has hired Weber/Moreton Sales & Associates and Atlantic Sales Connection as sales representatives for their patented inground solar reel systems. Weber/Moreton will be responsible for the Midwest territory while Atlantic Sales will provide coverage for the Northeast 13-state and Washington, D.C. area. Maxwell Associates has been hired by the company to help establish its systems in the United States.
