It's the start of a new decade and a clean slate. Whether you’re looking to improve your business this year or set new team goals, a nice place to begin is at one of the biggest trade shows of the year: The Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City.
The Pool & Spa Show, organized by the Northeast Spa and Pool Association, returns to the Atlantic City Convention Center with over 70 education courses, new products and plenty of engaging exhibits. Expected to draw in well over 10,000 pool and spa professionals, the show surely has something for everyone.
What’s new this year? Brett Abbott is presenting “The Deadly Dozen,” a compilation of 12 company-crushing killers that could be lurking in your business and hurting your marketing strategies. You’ve read about them in AQUA and now, attendees can catch his course in person. His seminar takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 8:30 a.m. Other seminar highlights include “21st Century Science for Residential Pools,” a “Women’s Leadership Workshop,” and “Selling Against the Internet.”
For the first time ever, NESPA will combine the celebration of its 2019 Outstanding Achievement Awards with this year’s Welcome Party, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Saloon Bar at Bally’s Wild Wild West Casino. For just $20 per ticket, you can celebrate these outstanding builder and service companies while kicking off the week with live music, food, beer pong and, once again, a mechanical bull. After the party, NESPA encourages attendees to visit the NESPA Membership Suite on the show floor to see the award-winning projects up close.
Industry professionals can also expect to see The Wall again this year. Offering hands-on demonstrations and an interactive learning experience, The Wall will give advice on how to handle heater repairs, pressure testing, shotcrete application and more.
