Dozens of builders submitted photos of their work for evaluation by the Inter-Fab team.  Winners are chosen for original use of products, complexity and overall beauty of the landscaped setting.  Winners of the content receive a free game set, and photos of their projects are often used in marketing materials by Inter-Fab—giving dealers added exposure and for their work in the marketplace.

Hayward Commercial Pool Products has named Diego Gutierrez mid-Atlantic territory sales manager for the Commercial Pool Products business. Gutierrez will take field sales responsibility for the mid-Atlantic region in the primary states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, and Ohio. In his new role, Gutierrez will work closely with commercial distributors, pool builders, pool architects and aquatic design companies alongside fellow commercial sales managers Paul Hammond (Central region), Jason Ainsworth (Western region) and Jason Tyner (Northeast and Southeast region).

Filbur Manufacturing has named Joe Marcotte national sales manager for its pool and spa markets. Marcotte brings 20 years of sales experience to Filbur, and previously represented Zodiac and Jandy Products in addition to owning his own company as a builder, retail and service professional.

Houzz, a website that matches homeowners with building and remodeling professionals, had added a category for pool and spa design and construction professionals. Houzz will showcase the photo portfolios of professionals who create a free profile in the “Pool and Spa Design & Construction” category on the website, which the company says is viewed by more than 3 million consumers per month.

In addition to gaining exposure to potential customers, the site offers networking opportunities for its community of 50,000 architects, designers, contractors and builders across a range of remodeling fields.

POOLCORP’s board of directors recently declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per share. The dividend will be payable on March 28, to holders of record on March 12. 

POOLCORP currently operates 298 sales centers in North America and Europe, through which it distributes more than 160,000 national brand and private label products to roughly 80,000 wholesale customers.
