Located in Atlanta and featured on HGTV’s Million Dollar Rooms, this amazing work of aquatic art was designed by Brian Van Bower, founder and principle designer of Aquatic Consultants. The pool includes a number of ritzy elements including its black onyx granite finish, raised-edge perimeter overflow design, iridescent peacock glass from Lightstreams Glass Tile, saltwater and ozone water treatment, vertical fountain jet and attached raised spa. The pool and spa are 48 feet long and contain 40,000 gallons of water.
The pool is the centerpiece of the 2,200-square-foot, elegantly appointed room, which includes a radiant floor-heating system, dehumidification system from PoolPak, electrically operated “fully pocketed” doors on each side of the pool to let the outside in, limestone floors to match an adjoining veranda, 123-inch flat-screen home theater system and an unusual combination fireplace and waterfall, among many other spectacular decorative touches.
