In 20 years, most people will look back on the pandemic with a range of emotions, but economically speaking, there is no denying it was a great time to be a service technician in this industry. People had more freetime and more funds to spend on leisure items, like a backyard pool and spa, which increased business, and therefore, increased profits. According to the majority of our State of the Industry survey respondents, revenues increased throughout the pandemic, including last year, 2022.
