Jeff Mazzone PhotoPool Industry Marketing Veteran Joins Imperial Team

Imperial Pools recently announced the appointment of Jeff Mazzone as Director of Marketing for the company. He will be responsible for marketing, promotion and brand management of the Imperial Pools line of manufactured and distributed products. Jeff will be based at Imperial Pool’s corporate headquarters in Latham, N.Y.

“We’re very fortunate to welcome Jeff to the Imperial team. His 20-plus years of successful marketing experience in the swimming pool industry will be a real asset for us,” says Anthony Brennan, senior vice president and COO.

Mazzone has achieved many highlights in his marketing career. He is credited with the design and introduction of the first three-dimensional tile pattern, an innovation that changed the vinyl liner industry. He also played a major role in the development and implementation of one of the industries most successful pool kit bundle programs and has managed several leading product lines and industry brands.

“We’re fortunate to have Jeff with us, and we’re certain that he will continue to raise the bar for Imperial and the industry,” Brennan says.

Evosus Business Management Software, makers of an all-in-one software program designed for pool and spa pros, has received the 2013 All Star Award from Constant Contact. Each year, a select group of Constant Contact customers are honored with the All Star Award for their exemplary marketing results. Evosus’ results ranked among the top 10 percent of Constant Contact’s customer base.

“We are very pleased to receive this award from Constant Contact for the third year in a row because of our strong marketing results,” says Christina Braks, VP of software products for Evosus. “We use Constant Contact for pre-and post trade show information, a recurring newsletter to clients as well as to update customers about recent blog posts and information about forums on the Evosus Support Center. We also use Constant Contact to send emails notifying customers of a change or upcoming new product release.”

Genesis 3 Hires Katie Wilke Junkers as Education Coordinator

Genesis 3 is pleased to announce it has added Katie Wilke Junkers to its team to help handle increasing number of students and members. Wilke Junkers will work with the Director of Operations, Lisa Bouton' David Peterson, chairman of the education council; and volunteers to assist and manage the many facets of continuing education, social media and database management.

Wilke Junkers has been with Genesis 3 for more than four years, managing the student database, IACET certification and assisting at the annual PSP Expo. In her new role, she'll have more time to manage the ever-growing Genesis 3 education schedule while also sharing her expertise in other areas.

"We have worked with Katie way back in the early days of Genesis 3 at the old AQUA Show and always found her to be professional and enthusiastic," said Genesis 3 officials. "She has continually shown that she shares in our vision of a team that is open to producing new ideas and feeling passionate for what Genesis 3 does."

SeaKlear, manufacturer of a complete line of pool and hot tub water treatment products, is pleased to announce it has hired Greg LaFata as the company’s new senior marketing manager. Greg will be responsible for introducing new products for the company as well as implementing new strategies to increase consumer brand awareness for SeaKlear products. Greg brings a wealth of experience having worked for such companies as Procter & Gamble and Philips.
