Aiper, a manufacturer of smart robotic pool cleaners and smart garden solutions, showcased the expansion of its Smart Yard Ecosystem at IFA Berlin 2026. The system allows users to centrally manage multiple areas of garden maintenance that were previously handled separately, all through a single platform.
An Integrated System for Effortless Maintenance
Through Aiper Intelligence of Things (AIoT), compatible devices can exchange information and coordinate their operations to support automated yard maintenance. Weather data, schedules and information from soil sensors can be combined to inform automation across the entire system, helping users manage maintenance tasks and resource use.
Compatible devices within the Aiper Smart Yard Ecosystem include robotic pool cleaners, irrigation systems, robotic lawn mowers, soil sensors, weather stations and solar panels.
Through the Aiper Smart Yard Ecosystem, users can control compatible devices through the app and create customized routines for pool and garden maintenance. The system supports several everyday use scenarios, including Daily Care, Climate Care and Vacation Care.
Daily Care coordinates tasks such as mowing, watering, soil monitoring and pool care based on established routines and available sensor data. For example, when soil sensors detect that an area is already wet, the system can pause a scheduled irrigation cycle to avoid unnecessary watering.
Climate Care allows the system to adjust care plans based on weather and on-site conditions, such as pausing irrigation or pool cleaning when rain is detected.
Vacation Care coordinates scheduled yard maintenance while users are away and can alert them when attention may be required.
Product Highlights
At IFA Berlin, Aiper introduced its Smart Yard Ecosystem and unveiled new garden and pool products compatible with the system.
Aiper IrriSense 2 SE
The successor to the Aiper IrriSense 2 is a 3-in-1 smart multi-zone irrigation system consisting of a controller, the sprinkler itself and an electric valve. Its compact design, measuring just 30 cm and weighing only 2.6 kg, together with straightforward installation in just 10 minutes, makes the IrriSense 2 SE an easy-to-use plug-and-play solution for garden maintenance.
Using the Smart App Center, users can remotely control the Aiper IrriSense 2 SE from their smartphone. They can create customized maps and routines and monitor corresponding data. The IrriSense 2 SE can also be powered by the Aiper Solar Panel.
The sprinkler simulates natural rainfall using EvenRain™ technology and covers an area of up to 445 m², with a spray range of up to 12 m. Plant-specific multi-zone irrigation allows users to configure up to six individual zones, addressing the different watering requirements of various plants. Combined with weather-adaptive irrigation scheduling and soil-moisture data from the Aiper Soil Sensor, the system can reduce water consumption by up to 40% compared with conventional in-ground irrigation systems. This is particularly relevant in areas where water use for garden irrigation is increasingly restricted.
All IrriSense devices are compatible with the Aiper Solar Panel, which enables up to nine hours of operation without a connection to the power grid. The devices also remain fully operational while being charged via the solar panel.
Scuba V3 Ultra
The Scuba V3 Ultra is Aiper’s cognitive, AI-powered 6-in-1 robotic pool cleaner. The V3 Ultra features Aiper’s AI Patrol Cleaning technology, which is based on environmental perception and route-planning capabilities. Together, these systems allow the robot to take user preferences, local weather patterns and pool dimensions into account and independently select a cleaning mode for more efficient battery use, enabling a seven-day hands-free cleaning schedule.
Two cameras provide spatial depth perception and precise distance detection both above and below the waterline. They offer a detection range of up to two meters, a response time of 0.1 seconds and can identify more than 20 different types of debris. Cleaning performance is then adjusted based on the amount of debris detected. Images captured by the cameras are neither stored nor transferred to the cloud, helping ensure user security and privacy.
The device cleans the pool floor, walls, waterline, water surface and shallow pool areas from a water depth of 20 centimeters; a chlorine tablet compartment completes the 6-in-1 concept. The energy-efficient JellyFloat Lift Engine supports movement and makes it easier to lift the device out of the pool. When cleaning the pool floor, the device offers a runtime of up to 240 minutes.
A dual-pump system delivers suction performance of up to 32,200 liters per hour. The multi-stage MicroMesh filtration system uses 180-micron and 3-micron filtration to capture both larger debris and fine particles.
The device can be operated at the touch of a button or through the Smart App Center, which brings together cleaning functions and operating-status information. For retrieval, the 13-kilogram robot returns to the water surface and quickly drains the water it has taken in.
