Pool Scouts, a pool service and maintenance franchise with more 109 units under Buzz Franchise Brands, formed a corporate partnership with the Hope Floats Foundation, an organization whose mission is to protect every life from drowning through education and water safety awareness.
Throughout Water Safety Month, Pool Scouts donated $1.00 from each service to the Hope Floats Foundation to provide scholarships to children for swim lessons. Pool Scouts’ efforts raised over $32,000 for the Hope Floats Foundation over the past two years. These funds will go towards scholarships for swim lessons for children who would not be able to afford them across the country. The scholarships are being given this month in local communities.
Hope Floats Foundation is a non-profit organization that funds scholarships for swimming for underprivileged children. Drowning is the leading cause of death in children under age five, and the second-leading cause of death in children under 14. With a unique nonprofit model, Hope Floats currently has over 200 swim and business partners across 31 states fundraising for scholarships for their local communities.
