Last month, IPSSA’s Menifee Valley Chapter hosted a drowning prevention booth at a festival hosted by the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District. The booth featured a fitting for children’s life vests, interactive children’s books, coloring books, water watcher tags and information about drowning prevention and local swimming lessons.
The festival, called “Splash into Spring,” featured local vendors, kids activities and a tour of the water treatment plant. Local mascots, including Josh the Otter, were also in attendance.
