Pentair Pool, a global leader in sustainable pool solutions, is pleased to announce that John Dawson has been named Group Sales Leader and Vice President of Sales for Pentair Pool. In his role, John will spearhead sales development initiatives and lead a high-performing sales team to drive the company's continued growth. He will report directly to Pentair Pool Chief Revenue Officer Greg Claffey.
John brings a wealth of experience to Pentair Pool, with nearly two decades in sales leadership, marketing and product management. Most recently, he served as the Sales and Marketing Leader for Sheds Direct, where he found a passion for enhancing backyard experiences. Prior to that, John spent 19 years with Trane Technologies' Residential & Light Commercial division, honing his skills in sales strategy and customer engagement.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, John and his family are passionate NC State fans and avid travelers. He looks forward to bringing that competitive edge and sense of adventure to Pentair Pool.
