BWT, a worldwide pool equipment supplier headquartered in Europe, has hired industry veteran Mike Tuttobene as president of North American operations. Until the new appointment, Tuttobene served as vice president of sales and marketing at Waterway Plastics.
“I am beyond excited to be part of such a great company, with a diverse line of products for the pool and spa industry,” Tuttobene says. “I’m looking forward to bringing many of the successful products from Europe into the U.S. market. There’s not enough competition here in the United States, and the pool dealers desperately want another quality choice. That’s where we come in…”
BWT is perhaps best known for their F1 race team, and was in the news recently for its acquisition of the Aquatron/Aquabot manufacturing facility in Israel. The company also manufactures pumps, filters, automation, heating products, liners, inground and aboveground pool kits, and maintenance equipment.
