After decades of experience in the pool industry, Don Smith has been promoted to the role of national sales manager for Blue Square Manufacturing, a growing pool equipment manufacturer headquartered in Chandler, Ariz. Don brings a wealth of industry experience over 30 years and a desire to continue the growth of the company.
Prior to Blue Square, Smith worked for Horner, SCP, and most recently, Waterway Plastics as the company's Florida territory sales manager. During his time at Waterway, Smith grew sales by 20% five years in a row and has accomplished 30% growth as the Florida territory sales manager at Blue Square.

I have no doubt he will continue to brilliantly represent Blue Square Manufacturing as our new national sales manager.”
In his new role, Smith will develop and implement the overall sales strategy, directly engaging and managing the regional managers and translating the company’s business objectives into marketing strategies that drive revenue. In addition, he will analyze market trends and sales data to assist in sales promotions for present and future business as well as advise dealers and distributors concerning sales and advertising techniques.
Don was excited and eager to take on this new role beginning June 20, 2022. “Our industry is a customer service industry.
