Blue Square Manufacturing Promotes Don Smith to National Sales Manager

Don SmithAfter decades of experience in the pool industry, Don Smith has been promoted to the role of national sales manager for Blue Square Manufacturing, a growing pool equipment manufacturer headquartered in Chandler, Ariz. Don brings a wealth of industry experience over 30 years and a desire to continue the growth of the company.

Prior to Blue Square, Smith worked for Horner, SCP, and most recently, Waterway Plastics as the company's Florida territory sales manager. During his time at Waterway, Smith grew sales by 20% five years in a row and has accomplished 30% growth as the Florida territory sales manager at Blue Square. 

CEO Jeremy Owens, shares his excitement regarding the promotion from within: “I am thrilled to promote Don to this new role. He brings vast industry knowledge that will support our customers as well as our internal sales team. I have no doubt he will continue to brilliantly represent Blue Square Manufacturing as our new national sales manager.”

In his new role, Smith will develop and implement the overall sales strategy, directly engaging and managing the regional managers and translating the company’s business objectives into marketing strategies that drive revenue. In addition, he will analyze market trends and sales data to assist in sales promotions for present and future business as well as advise dealers and distributors concerning sales and advertising techniques.
