2024 Everything Under the Sun Expo Brings the Fire & Ice to Orange County

Expo 1

The 2024 Everything Under the Sun Expo, presented by the Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA), will take place February 23-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

The Expo was created in 1972 as part of FSPA’s mission of advancing the Florida swimming pool industry. Throughout its more than 50-year history, this cornerstone event for the pool and spa industry has seen various names and branding, including the Florida Pool & Spa Show and the Orlando Pool & Spa Show.

“FSPA’s mission to advance the pool and spa industry is exemplified through our Everything Under the Sun Expo, which brings attendees together with our education offerings, networking and amazing exhibitors,” says Elizabeth McMurray, FSPA chief executive officer. “The Expo is an annual celebration of where the pool industry is and where it is going, and we are honored to be Florida’s hub for that knowledge.”

The Expo will be held in West Hall E of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Specialty education courses begin as early as Wednesday, February 21. The Exhibit Hall will open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, with a grand opening ceremony taking place shortly before. The show is not open to the general public.

Education courses are a crucial aspect of the annual Expo, tallying 200 hours of learning through more than 70 sessions. Specialty courses that will be offered include the Florida Public Pool Specialist certification, the LP Gas Master Qualifier endorsed program, and courses from GENESIS and Watershape University. Continuing education daily offerings begin Thursday, February 22 and continue through Saturday, February 24. Learning Labs for hands-on, product-specific training will also be held within the exhibit hall during hall hours.

The annual Expo is also known for its festive social activities. These begin with the FSPA Awards and After Party, which includes the annual Design Awards along with individual recognitions from across the state’s 16 chapters. The FSPA Awards will be held Thursday, February 22 at 3Nine at the Rosen Plaza from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. An exclusive After Party will immediately follow from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This year’s theme is Fire & Ice, and all attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to attend and dress to impress — vivid reds and oranges or with deep blues and whites are encouraged! RSVP is required in advance for both the FSPA Awards and the After Party by emailing [email protected]. Entrance is limited so RSVP early!

This year’s Friday Night Party will be held at the ICEBAR, which is within walking distance from the show hotels, on Friday, February 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The evening will feature fabulous food, an open bar, a cigar rolling station, and both Fire & Ice themed rooms. Indoor and covered outdoor space make this the perfect place for networking and fun. This is a private industry event and tickets are required. Tickets can be purchased during registration or at the FSPA booth for $50 or for $60 at the door.

There will also be several opportunities to support the Florida Swims Foundation, FSPA’s charitable arm, at this year’s Expo:

“Swim For Life” License Plate – Visit Florida Swims Foundation booth #1009 to preorder the exclusive “Swim For Life” license plate, which funds swim lessons for children across the state of Florida.

Scholarship Stride – Support scholarship funding for students while you walk around the Expo Hall! Stop by the Florida Swims Foundation booth #1009, pick up a Stamp Card, and visit participating Exhibitor Sponsor booths. Return your card to the booth and be entered to win a prize – there’s a winner every day! Participation is free, but you can make an optional $25 donation to receive a commemorative Scholarship Stride t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Margaret M. Brown Scholarship Fund, which provides educational scholarships to dependents of FSPA members. The event is in memory of former FSPA President Brian Kelly.

The official host hotels are the Hyatt Regency, Rosen Centre, and the Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center. All are within walking distance of the Exhibit Hall and are offering special rates for attendees. *Note: the Hyatt Regency currently has no availability for the Expo. Guests are encouraged to book their rooms at one of the remaining host properties as soon as possible.
