Pinch A Penny Store Opens New Florida Location

Pinch A Penny, a fast-growing swimming pool retail, service and repair franchise, announced the opening of its newest store in Davenport, Fla.

Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa opened on April 22 in the Champions Crossing Publix Shopping Center at 1170 Champions Dr., Davenport, Florida, 33897. The new store will be open seven days a week with the initial operating hours being Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

With more than 260 locations across the Southeastern U.S. and Texas, Pinch A Penny has developed a reputation for delivering best-in-class customer service and expertise in pool care while offering the highest quality in products and supplies. Pinch A Penny provides customers a one-stop-shop for all their pool and spa supply needs with one of the most complete lines of pool chemicals, equipment, as well as maintenance parts and accessories available anywhere.

The new Davenport store is owned by Jeff Hartsfield. Hartsfield’s family has been part of the Pinch A Penny system for more than 15 years, having owned stores in Winter Garden and Apopka. He previously handled pool maintenance and repair, as he and his team cleaned more 500 pools per week throughout the area. Hartsfield is now opening a store in Davenport due to the growing consumer demand for pool service maintenance and supplies in the market.

“I loved my time in working with Pinch A Penny for more than 15 years and I am excited to take on a different role in operating the new store in Davenport,” says Hartsfield. "Just as my parents did when owning their stores, I can’t wait to build relationships within the local community. We will provide our customers excellent and reliable services for all their pool needs.”

In addition to pool supply retail, Pinch A Penny offers ongoing maintenance and repair services, like water testing and pool service, as well as pool renovations, leak detection, pressure washing, landscape lighting and more.

"Jeff and his family have been wonderful members of the Pinch A Penny system for many years,” says Jim Eisch, CEO of Pinch A Penny. “We are very excited about Jeff’s ownership of the newest store in Davenport and his ability to be a valuable resource for the many pool owners in the area who need their service.”
