South Carolina is still recovering from the disastrous flooding from last October. To help, Tara Liners is donating a portion of the proceeds from pool liner sales in South Carolina to the Red Cross to support flood relief efforts.
“Knowing that the cleanup and rebuilding process can take months, we wanted to contribute in an ongoing way, says Thomas Kennedy, marketing director for Tara Liners.
In December, the manufacturer contacted the Red Cross and developed a program: from January 1 to May 1, 1 percent of the sale of all liners sold in South Carolina would be donated to the Red Cross. In total, Tara will donate almost $2,000.
“We hope that this donation will provide relief and comfort to the families affected by the devastating flooding in South Carolina,” Thomas says.
