Business Briefs: SeaKlear, BioGuard, Triogen, Nicholas Pools

BioLab has announced that Charlie Schobel will be leaving the company after 36 years with the company. “Charlie’s contributions to the growth of BioLab and the pool industry have been numerous and his legacy of providing pool dealers with the high quality products and support they need to be successful will continue to influence our strategy for some time,” said Jon Viner, president of BioLab. “Those who have been mentored by Charlie will carry on that legacy as we continue to find innovative ways to help our dealers and our industry prosper and grow.”

Schobel is also a longtime contributor to APSP, where he has served on several committees and task forces, culminating in his chairmanship of the association during 2010.

“We’re certain Charlie will remain involved within the industry in some form or another and he will continue to remain close to all the friends and associates he has made during his career,” Viner added. “We fully support him in the APSP projects that are still on his plate and wish him continued success wherever his path leads him.”
