The Inter-Fab cycling team is made up of employees, vendors and sales representatives nationwide. Steve Fermanich, Inter-Fab’s Memphis branch manager, finished number 206 out of 3,172 riders in the 111-mile race with a time of 4:56:33.19.
During the last several years, Inter-Fab has raised over $50,000 for El Tour de Tucson charities. It is a win-win situation for all. The El Tour de Tucson event raises thousands of dollars annually for local and national charitable organizations while providing ongoing educational efforts for the promotion of safe cycling.

• Hayward Commercial Pool Products has named Jason Tyner to the position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager for the Commercial Pool Products business. Tyner will begin transitioning into his new position over the next few months and is expected to be fully focused on the Commercial business by September. In his new role, he will work closely with commercial distributors, builders, pool architects and aquatic design companies alongside his fellow commercial sales managers Paul Hammond (Central Regional Sales Manager) and Jason Ainsworth (Western Regional Sales Manager).
Tyner, who previously held the position of District Sales Manager for the North and South Carolina area for Hayward Pool Products’ residential business, has extensive pool industry experience. In his previous role, “Jason contributed to the strong development and success of Hayward’s commercial business within his territory,” said Patrick Sweeney, general manager of the Commercial Division. “We look forward to his continued support and expertise in the commercial field; we have full confidence that he will be a strong player helping to expand Hayward’s presence in the commercial swimming pool market.”
• The Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA) has named Jessica Mears to the new position of member development coordinator.
Mears, who has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in communication, was previously a purchasing agent for the local governing entity of The Villages, Fla. In her new position, she will manage membership retention and recruit members for the FSPA local chapters.
The new job position was introduced in efforts to increase the value members receive from their annual membership. Mears will actively acquire information directly from industry members to gain a better understanding of how the FSPA can benefit them and what their needs are.
