Apparently there's a new thing grabbing the cool kids' attention on the Internet, and we're not talking about Phil The Poolman. It's called leisure diving, and it's shaping up to be one of the summer's version of planking, which I'm told was the big thing all the way back in the late springtime.
The sport, if you can call it that, involves taking pictures of people jumping into a pool while striking a "leisure pose" in midair, according to leisuredive.com. Folded arms or fake sleeping aren't likely to get much attention in an arena where competitors come armed with martini glasses, smoking jackets, newspapers and golf gear. Of course, it's completely pointless, saps productivity and won't likely live beyond Labor Day, so get busy looking leisurely before it's too late.
