Kelly writes, "There are no real rules for fantasy pools." True to her words, the book showcases over 200 unique and very glamorous outdoor spaces — from the Morrison-Strassner house (pictured) in Palm Springs to oases in Mexico City, Beverly Hills, Bali and more. Behold the backyards of celebrities like Cher and Diane Keaton as well as masterpieces from architects Frank Lloyd Wright and Richard Neutra. The book truly travels the globe and checks off a number of "trending" builds from inspiring infinity edges to cascading waterfalls — with great detail spent on landscaping and furnishings, too.

But the book leaves you with more than just inspiration (and, if we're being honest, a bit of envy) — it also has advice for homeowners. How does one achieve their ideal water color, such as aqua, dark blue or green? How do you secure your yard but prevent it from resembling a "maximum security stockade?" All this and more throughout the book's 224 pages.

Pick it up on Amazon for $35.19 or support your local bookshop (probably available upon request/order), with a price tag closer to $55. It makes a great conversation piece the next time you find yourself in a living room filled with fellow pool-loving pals or a nice resource when planning your own dream pool.
