"Due to the cancellation of in-person events this past year, Genesis took the initiative to address the needs of our students," explains Skip Phillips, SWD Master and Genesis co-founder. "We reimagined how we delivered education and presented the entire SWD core curriculum online, allowing our students to take courses, complete needed classes and meet requirements in a live environment."
“SWDs throughout the world are credited with the design and construction of the most conceptually creative, technically advanced, and structurally sound structures,” added Brian Van Bower, SWD Master and Genesis co-founder. “These individuals collectively push the boundaries of creative expression, using water as their media.”
“I really enjoy being a part of Genesis because of the network and awareness it creates for you,” says Joshua Buzzell, SWD Registered, Regal Pools. “Meeting like-minded individuals, and learning from their past success and failures, has been invaluable to me as a young business owner.”
Those who achieve SWD status have acquired skills and knowledge encompassing color theory, the principles of design, multi-dimensional visual communication, the vocabulary of architectural design and history and the principles of proper pool construction.
SWD Registered members accept and abide by the Genesis Code of Conduct and attain 12 hours of Genesis-approved CEUs every year. For more information on the SWD program or the full curriculum offered by Genesis, click here.
