Hasa, a leading producer and distributor of high-quality water treatment products, has entered into an agreement with Meissner Mfg. Co. (otherwise known as Unicel) to support and promote Unicel replacement cartridges and grids to the swimming pool and hot tub industries in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas.
“We are very excited to have Unicel represented by the Hasa sales force,” says Christine Schaeffer, vice president of Unicel. “Both of our companies have a long history in the swimming pool and spa industry and have been innovators and industry stewards. We share many common core values.”
Rory Manley, president and CEO of Hasa, says synergies between the two companies will benefit both. “We believe it’s a great fit,” he says. “We call on many of the same customers and both focus on product quality and outstanding customer service."
Hasa plans to assign approximately a dozen sales representatives to support the Unicel territory by calling on distributors and dealers, serving as the face of Unicel at trade shows and more.
