FROG Algae Blocker 4Pro is a unique, guaranteed algae prevention and pool sanitizing solution made for pool service professionals. “It’s a dry, concentrated formula in a prefilled pod that goes into the skimmer basket,” Alex Granlund, product marketing manager for King Technology, explains. “This product is much more convenient for service professionals, and saves them time,” Granlund adds. “It lasts six months, so no more weekly dosing is needed; it dispenses within 24 hours and the empty pod can be removed on a service professionals next visit”
This is a tremendous departure from the multiple bottles of liquid pool service professionals now use to prevent and cure algae. The usual method is to dose a pool every 3-5 days with as many bottles of liquid as needed depending on the number of gallons in the pool.
To cover a daily route, many bottles of liquid must be carried, and they tend to leak. Then the liquid must often be mixed in a bucket before dumping it around the pool’s perimeter. Spilling, glugging, splashing and staining are typical hazards of the procedure, until now.
FROG Algae Blocker 4Pro makes it easier to prevent and cure algae. “Algae Blocker 4Pro attacks algae before it gets a foothold,” Dan Longhenry, director of engineering for King Technology states. “We developed FROG Algae Blocker 4Pro to prevent and cure algae while protecting the chlorine and making it last longer,” he adds.
“In addition, we designed it with four enhanced stain inhibitors, plus, we guarantee the product,” Longhenry says.
