Southern California is famous both for movies and its legendarily decadent aquatic lifestyle. Now local residents can enjoy both at the same time thanks to Hot Tub Cinema Club.
Hot Tub Cinema Club treats movie- and hot tub-loving patrons to the indulgence of watching classic movies from the comfort of an inflatable hot tub while partying with friends old and new. After a series of successful events in Europe and Australia, HTCC is coming to the Los Angeles area with a series of bubbly film events.
The events will feature 20 spas holding five people apiece, arranged in front of a movie screen. The schedule of films has not been released, but organizers promise great entertainment and a fun environment.
Tickets cost $40 and include the movie and hot tub, with changing rooms and towels available, along with food and beverage concessions. The tubs are provided by Lay-Z-Spa.
The company’s mantra is, “We don’t just watch films, we celebrate them!”
And they do it all from the comfort of bubbling hot water.
