For the 11th consecutive year, Swimming Pool Services Inc. will provide free Christmas lighting and decorating services at the homes of two military families in southeastern Wisconsin.
Swimming Pool Services is seeking nominations for two deserving families — active duty, reservist or retired military — to have their homes adorned with a customized display of lighting and holiday decorations. The veterans and families will be honored through the Decorated Family Program, part of Swimming Pool Services’ franchise affiliation with Christmas Decor.
- The nominator’s name, e-mail address and phone number
- Name and address of the military family being nominated
- Description (up to 500 words) of why the family should be a “Christmas Decor Decorated Family”
Nominations are due by October 31. Nominated families can live in Waukesha, Milwaukee, Washington or Ozaukee counties. The recipients will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11. Following a design consultation, the holiday decorations can be installed whenever the winning families choose.
“We are thrilled to brighten the spirits of military families this holiday season by making their homes the brightest, most joyous ones on the block,” says David Thompson, chief executive officer of Swimming Pool Services. “The Decorated Family program was created to thank military families of soldiers serving, or who have served, for their dedication and support for our nation. We show our thanks by providing holiday lights decorating to selected families, free of charge!”
Swimming Pool Services says it is the only company offering Christmas Decor services in southeastern Wisconsin. Its talented holiday decorators create customized lighting and decorative displays, allowing homeowners to show their holiday spirit without having to climb ladders, hang greenery or untangle lights.
The fully insured Christmas Décor services include complete installation and takedown of all decorations. More information is available at https://swimmingpoolservices.com/lighting-display/, or by e-mailing [email protected].
