The National Plasterers Council (NPC) is proud to announce the release of the online version of its Start-Up Technician Class for pool professionals. Since the 2021 Annual Conference held virtually in February, NPC has been working on an updated and professional version of its ever-popular Start-Up Class, and now it is available for pool start-up technicians to take online.
The class is approximately three hours long, plus testing time. The online version allows students to learn at their own pace at a time that is convenient for them. The cost of the class is $325; however, NPC members receive an exclusive discount paying only $225. This price includes the class, NPC Technical Manual, Start-Up Reference Workbook, IPSSA Basic Training Manual and the newly updated NPC Start-Up Card. Once registered, the student will receive those materials in the mail, thus allowing them to take the class and test from their home.
After successfully fulfilling the test, the student will be able to download their Certificate of Completion. Further, NPC members earn their place in the online NPC Membership Directory of Certified Start-Up Technicians.
"It has been the vision of the NPC to produce an online version of our Start-Up class for years, so I couldn't be more pleased to announce the release of this terrific class. Now the NPC can extend its voice to start-up technicians from the most rural areas of our country to cities across the globe," says Yvette Gammon, vice president of Gammon Pools and Chairman of the NPC.
