Las Vegas Publicist, Mary Vail, MBA Wins 3 Gold VIDDY Awards


Las Vegas Publicist, Mary Vail, MBA was recognized with three Gold VIDDY Awards in the latest International VIDDY Awards competition. Vail produced the winning videos for her client Paragon Pools, a custom pool builder in Las Vegas. The Gold winning entries included two YouTube PSAs promoting water safety with Paragon Pools’ Float Like A Duck initiative, 6 Steps to Floating and How to Fit Your Child with a Proper Personal Flotation Device (PFD), and the third winning entry is from Paragon Pools’ POOLFLICKS YouTube video streaming series, AquaTekture - Season 3: Episode 11- Reflections of Vegas.

6 Steps to Floating PSA video features Duckie the Mascot (played by David Vail) and representatives of the Nevada Desert Mermaids (NDM) artistic swimming team. NDM Head Coach Ludivine Stsepaniuk and daughter/ team member Sophia demonstrate the floating technique. Stsepaniuk, an award-winning athlete and Coach, stresses the importance of practicing the skill of floating as well as ensuring there is a qualified adult or lifeguard at the pool when one is in the water.

How to Fit Your Child with a Proper Personal Flotation Device (PFD)  PSA video features real-life mom Ashley Lopez and son Austin demonstrating the proper tips, warnings, and importance of fitting one’s child with a proper personal flotation device (PFD) also known as a life vest, a life jacket, or a life preserver. Lopez emphasizes that any device used on a child (or adult) should be identified as an official US Coast Guard approved PFD. Ashley is a professional model and longtime Float Like A Duck volunteer.

POOLFLICKS AquaTekture - Season 3: Episode 11- Reflections of Vegas video features one of Paragon Pools’ custom pools: a perimeter overflow pool and raised spa with an elevated deck and geometric fire pit.

There were over 2,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 22 other countries in the 2023 competition.
