As the year wraps up, Team Horner faces a significant transition in its export division. After more than 30 years of dedication and unwavering commitment, Linda Carroll, vice president of HornerXpress Worldwide — a wholesale distributor of swimming pool and spa supplies — will be retiring at the close of this year on December 31, 2025.
Linda Carroll
Under her stewardship, HornerXpress Worldwide has flourished, earning the President’s “E Award” and “E Star Award,” established by President John F. Kennedy to recognize excellence in exporting U.S. products and expanding the presence of U.S. products around the globe. This prestigious honor is awarded by The Secretary of Commerce of The United States at the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.
Mike Dooley, president and COO of Team Horner Group, acknowledges Linda’s contributions: “Linda’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of this company, and her impact will be felt for many years to come. Words cannot fully capture the depth of our gratitude for Linda’s contributions. We look forward to Linda’s induction into our Team Horner Hall of Fame in 2026.”
As one chapter closes, another begins. Longtime teammate, Gretchen Knaebel-Ross, will be stepping in to lead the HornerXpress Worldwide division as the new general manager.
Gretchen Knaebel-Ross
Dooley’s optimism for Team Horner’s export division is evident. “Gretchen’s dedication, vision and deep understanding of our company’s operations and mission make her the perfect choice to carry forward the torch. I have no doubt that under Gretchen’s leadership, Worldwide will continue to grow, innovate and excel, building upon the foundation Linda has laid.”
As HornerXpress Worldwide turns the page, the foundation built by Linda and the vision carried forward by Gretchen promise a future of continued growth, innovation and excellence. Team Horner remains committed to serving customers worldwide with the same integrity and passion that have defined the organization for decades.
