PSP Expo Names Best New and Best Green Products

Pentair's UltraTemp ETi HeaterMore than 45 products were on display in the New Product Innovation Zone at Orlando’s PSP Expo — but only two won honors as the Best New Product and Best Green Product.

This year, Pentair won the Best New Product title with its UltraTemp ETi Heater. This heater is the first to combine gas + heat pump in a single heater. In Hybrid Mode, the heater calculates the fastest and most efficient combination of heating technologies to meet the desired temperature.

Hayward’s TriStar VS 950 Omni variable-speed pump came in second, followed by the CORAL Drowning Detection System in third place.

Aztech Energy’s SunCatcher Solar Spa Cover received the honor of Best Green Product. Its unique design features two heating panels that absorb heat from the sun’s rays, which then radiates into the spa water. The cover can provide more than half of a hot tub’s heating needs.

Over 45 products were submitted for consideration and displayed at the product showcase for this year. Winners were selected by a panel of judges representing the various sectors of the pool and spa industry.
