The 2015 PSP Expo was a big winner in Las Vegas, bringing an impressive display of industry products, education and networking opportunities. This year’s expo drew 11,556 attendees — an increase from last year’s attendance of 11,103 — from across the country and around the world, a strong showing from the global pool, spa and outdoor industries. Attendees experienced a 137,600 square foot exhibit hall packed with brand new industry product launches, innovative show floor features, and an unmatched line-up of on-floor events. The PSP Expo’s conference program, prize giveaways, celebrity appearances and many other new show features added to the additional success of this year’s event.
The 2015 PSP Expo exhibit hall was a stunning display of water, technology and equipment from 525 exhibiting companies with 118 new companies joining us this year. Exhibitors greeted attendees with incredible booths that not only pleased the eye, but were packed with products to benefit the attendees’ businesses. Over 60 products participated in the Product Showcase this year. With pHin by ConnectedYard, Inc. earning the best new product award and FlowStar Standard Skimmer with Ozone by AquaStar Pool Products, Inc. awarded best green product. CEC presented its newest product, cFloat, an advanced system that collects key information from pools allowing the integration of water chemistry and technology with data accessible in real time on a smartphone. Artesian Spas displayed new 2016 hot tubs, including the Quail Ridge and Platinum Elite. Barbeques Galore and West Coast Customs, the team behind the former MTV hit “Pimp My Ride,” officially revealed the “Ride On Que” truck at the PSP Expo. The customized, transforming truck with a custom-built island that holds all of the grills, doors, refrigerators and burners that Barbeques Galore offers. Add in the lights and music and this was a ‘must-see’ display. In addition to these unique experiences, the show floor featured the debut of the Casual Furniture Marketplace with its 13 exhibitors and taking 4,300 sq. ft. of the Expo floor, it is obvious why this is one of the fastest growing segments of the outdoor market.
Attendees of this year’s PSP Expo had an unparalleled opportunity for learning, through over 40 brand new conference sessions. Our partners at APSP, Genesis, CPO, ASA and NPC also produced pre-conference education content that was well-received and highly attended. Additional Expo floor education in the Hayward School of Business and the Splash Talks drew the largest crowds to date.
“It was a pleasure to host the professionals who attended from around the country and globe,” says Show Director Tracy Garcia. “Thank you to our attendees, Expo sponsors and partners, the exhibitors and to all participants, for making 2015 another incredible showing for the industry.”
The 2015 PSP Expo did not fall short on fun and networking opportunities either. The Welcome Party, sponsored by the APSP International Awards of Excellence, rocked the LIGHT Nightclub on opening night. Wednesday evening concluded with the BBQ Bash, located right off the show floor and sponsored by Fire Disc, Traeger Wood Fire Grills and Sawtooth Pellet Grills. The crowd enjoyed samples from each of the grill sponsors and DJ made sure the music was turned up. The show wrapped on Thursday with the Pool PRIZE Party, sponsored by Summerset Casual and Barbeques Galore and hosted by Brett and Wayde, the stars of the hit Animal Planet show, Tanked. Thousands of dollars in prizes including a backyard makeover, $2,000 cash, an outdoor TV and an underwater drill, were given away to attendees present at the event.

Exhibitors were so pleased with the turnout and engagement level of the attendees in Las Vegas that exhibitors reserved over 51,000 square feet on-site for PSP 2016 in New Orleans.
