They’re strong, fast and agile killing machines. Normally, to approach within chomping distance of these razor-toothed predators is to risk grisly death.
Visitors to the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, however, can get up close to these primeval man-eaters in complete safety. The hotel features a 200,000-gallon shark tank, through which guests may water slide, entirely without fear of being devoured. Patrons may also splash in the hotel pool, right up next to the glass behind which the lethal leviathans swim, which produces a harmless tingling sensation down the spine.
